GOP Senators Send Questions to Kagan on Health Care Law

Senate Republicans have asked Solicitor General Elena Kagan whether, if confirmed to the Supreme Court, she would recuse herself from any potential cases dealing with the new health care law passed this year. Senator Jeff Sessions, the Senate Judiciary Committee's top Republican, expressed his belief today that Kagan advised the Administration on the issue, or at least expressed her opinion on the merits of any potential cases arising from the law's passage.
